Statement on 'social media regulation' from Minister of Family and Social Services Göktaş
Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş stated, "We want to offer our children a safer digital world. In this context, we are determined to implement a social media regulation that prioritizes the safety of our children in the near future."
Cihannüma Association, in collaboration with Esenler Municipality and Yıldız Technical University,organized the"New Generation ProblemsFaced by the Family" workThe closing program of the workshop was held at Yıldız Technical University. The program was attended by Minister of Family and Social Services MahinurÖzdemir Göktaş, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, Esenler MayorMehmet TevfikGöksu, academics, andrepresentatives ofnon-governmental organizations.educators and manyguests attended.
Speaking at the program, Minister Göktaş said, "When we talk about the family, we are actually talking about the fundamental ground upon which a person clings to life, the cornerstone of society, and the continuity of our civilization. The family is the first place where our values, sense of responsibility, and sense of belonging are formed." is the place where learning occurs.
