Statement on Syria from PKK's Karayılan: He targeted Turkey!

Murat Karayılan, one of the so-called leaders of the terrorist organization PKK, made notable statements regarding the military activity and conflicts in northern Syria. Karayılan evaluated these developments not merely as a local situation, but as part of a broader regional plan.

"RESISTANCE TO THE WILL AND STATUS OF THE KURDISH PEOPLE"

Karayılan claimed that the fundamental goal of the recent attacks in Syria is to undermine the process that Abdullah Öcalan initiated in Turkey. Stating that "it is clear that they do not want the Kurdish people to be part of the plan to redesign the region," Karayılan said, "They do not want the Kurdish people to have a will and status."

CLAIM OF "AN INTERNATIONAL CONSPIRACY"

Describing the ongoing conflicts as a "comprehensive conspiracy," Karayılan said these attacks were organized against the gains of the Kurdish people. "Both international and local powers are involved in this conspiracy," Karayılan said, adding, "These powers saw their interests here and therefore organized these attacks."

The statements of the terrorist Karayılan are as follows: 

“Undoubtedly, the Turkish state is playing an active role in this conspiracy. Turkish officials should know that we are not children. You cannot talk about brotherhood in Turkey and say let's provide internal peace, while simultaneously targeting all the gains of the Kurdish people in Rojava and carrying out a genocide through gangs. No one will be fooled by this.

This will be a black mark for the international coalition states, primarily the USA, as well as the UK, Germany, and France. You told this people that ‘we are allies.’ What happened now that you are leaving your ally to face such an attack? This hypocrisy you are engaging in will not be forgotten by either the Kurdish people or the conscience of honorable humanity.“
