Statement on the claim that 'Saudi Arabia has banned Turkish citizens from Hajj'
The Presidential Communications Directorate's Center for Combating Disinformation has issued a statement regarding the claim that "Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will ban Turkish citizens from coming for Hajj."
The Center for Combating Disinformation reported that there is no official statement or decision from either country that would prevent Turkish citizens from traveling to Saudi Arabia to perform their Hajj pilgrimage.
The Center for Combating Disinformation shared a post regarding the claim on its social media account.

"THERE IS NO OFFICIAL STATEMENT"
The statement noted the following:
"The claim shared by some social media accounts that 'Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will ban Turkish citizens from coming for Hajj' is not true.
There is no official statement or decision from either country that would prevent Turkish citizens from traveling to Saudi Arabia to perform their Hajj pilgrimage.
Do not give credence to baseless claims."
