YENİ Party Malatya MP Veli Ağbaba, who was meeting with citizens as part of a market program in Malatya, fell ill and fainted during the visit.
Ağbaba, who received his initial intervention from 112 Emergency Health teams dispatched to the area upon notification, was taken by ambulance to the Inönü University Turgut Özal Medical Center for treatment.
Making a statement regarding Ağbaba's health status, Turgut Özal Medical Center Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Erol Karaaslan said, "Veli Ağbaba was brought to our emergency department via 112. No pathology was seen in the examinations performed. As a precaution, upon the request of our professors, it was decided to monitor him in the coronary intensive care unit."
Meanwhile, Malatya Governor Seddar Yavuz also arrived at the Turgut Özal Medical Center to receive information from officials regarding Ağbaba's health status and the ongoing treatment process.
