Sharing a photo taken with Bahçeli on his social media account, Daşdemir made the following statement regarding the claims on social media:
"Do not believe the false news circulating about the Wise Leader of the Nationalist movement and the Nationalist Movement Party, Mr. Devlet Bahçeli; his health is perfectly fine. May Almighty God grant him a long and healthy life."

FIRST STATEMENT FROM MHP REGARDING POSTS ABOUT BAHÇELİ
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Deputy Chairman İsmail Özdemir stated, "Efforts targeting our Chairman and conducted via social media regarding disinformation have been identified by our party, and the necessary information has been shared with the Ministry of Interior."
In a statement made on his social media account, Özdemir noted the following:
"Efforts targeting our esteemed Chairman and conducted via social media regarding disinformation have been identified by our party, and the necessary information (the social media accounts producing and spreading the disinformation) has been shared with the Ministry of Interior. Our Police Department has initiated investigations into the matter without delay. Respectfully announced to the public."
