Posts claiming that Bahçeli's health was poor or even that he had passed away appeared one after another. Optimar Research Company President Hilmi Daşdemir provided the information sought regarding the health status of Chairman Bahçeli, particularly for MHP members, via his social media account.

Sharing a photo taken with Bahçeli on his social media account, Daşdemir made the following statement regarding the claims on social media:

FIRST STATEMENT FROM MHP REGARDING POSTS ABOUT BAHÇELİ

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Deputy Chairman İsmail Özdemir stated, "Efforts targeting our Chairman and conducted via social media regarding disinformation have been identified by our party, and the necessary information has been shared with the Ministry of Interior."

In a statement made on his social media account, Özdemir noted the following:

"Efforts targeting our esteemed Chairman and conducted via social media regarding disinformation have been identified by our party, and the necessary information (the social media accounts producing and spreading the disinformation) has been shared with the Ministry of Interior.
