Storm in Çanakkale: Ferry services cancelled
Due to the storm affecting Çanakkale, some ferry services on the Kabatepe-Gökçeada line have been cancelled for today and tomorrow.
Due to the storm in Çanakkale, it has been announced that some ferry services on the Kabatepe-Gökçeada line will not be able to operate today and tomorrow.
In a statement made by GESTAŞ AŞ, which provides transportation between the Dardanelles (Çanakkale Strait) and the islands, it was stated that the ferry services scheduled for 22:00 today from Gökçeada and 05:00 tomorrow from Kabatepe have been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
Furthermore, it was stated that a schedule change has been implemented on the Kabatepe-Gökçeada line starting today, that the Çanakkale-Eceabat and Çanakkale-Kilitbahir services on the Strait lines are continuing according to the schedule, and that the Lapseki-Gelibolu services are continuing without a fixed schedule.
