Storm sinks boats in Ayvalık
In the Ayvalık district of Balıkesir, a storm that has been effective for two days has negatively impacted life, particularly maritime transportation. Due to the northeasterly storm, some boats in Ayvalık have sunk.
Due to the storm, which was effective in the Sahilkent neighborhood, Cunda Island, and the Paşalimanı area of Ayvalık, some small fishing boats and a yacht sank and were damaged.
Due to the strong storm, ferry services carrying passengers between Greece's Lesbos Island and Ayvalık have been canceled.

The storm is expected to lose its effect starting from the morning hours, and air temperatures are expected to rise.
