Street to be named after Zeren Ertaş, who lost her life in the KYK dormitory elevator tragedy
The street in front of the Güzelhisar KYK Girls' Dormitory in the Efeler district of Aydın will be named after Zeren Ertaş, who lost her life in the elevator tragedy that occurred there, to keep her memory alive.
Aydın Metropolitan Municipality, during its November Ordinary Council Meeting, decided to keep the name of Zeren Ertaş, who lost her life in the elevator tragedy at the Güzelhisar KYK Girls' Dormitory, alive in the Işıklı Neighborhood. The street in front of the dormitory located in the Işıklı Neighborhood will be named after Zeren Ertaş.
Aydın Metropolitan Mayor Özlem Çerçioğlu stated, "We will keep the name of our university student daughter Zeren, who lost her life in the accident that occurred a short while ago, alive on the road in front of the dormitory. Once again, our condolences to all of us."
