Striking claim from journalist Bora Erdin: Traces of Israeli intelligence in the infrastructure of Turkish news sites
Journalist Bora Erdin has claimed that the company providing infrastructure for many news sites, including pro-government outlets such as TGRT and Türkiye Gazetesi, is an Israeli firm that collects data.
Erdin stated that this company provides advertising and editorial content to news sites in Turkey.
"The Company's Owner Was Trained by Israeli Intelligence"
Claiming that the founder of the Israeli firm in question was trained by the "Israeli Intelligence Agency," Erdin noted that this individual has openly discussed this background.
According to Erdin's statements, the company conducts a massive data collection operation by installing unauthorized data and even malware onto the phones of citizens reading the news.
COLLECTED DATA TRAINS MILITARY-GRADE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Pointing out that the British newspaper The Guardian has also brought this issue to the agenda, Bora Erdin reported that this data collected from Turkey is used to train artificial intelligence models.
Referring to the allegations published in The Guardian, Erdin stated that this artificial intelligence, which is used and trained within the infrastructure, is shared with an Israeli military contractor.
Erdin also added to his claims that tech giant Google was forced to pay millions of users because the system installs unauthorized data onto users' phones, despite it being prohibited.
Pointing to the tension axis in the Middle East involving Israel, Palestine, Iran, and the United States, Erdin emphasized that the data collected in the background serves a strategic purpose for artificial intelligence training within these power balances.
