Striking claim from Tanju Özcan regarding the Kartalkaya fire investigation
Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan has made a striking claim regarding the investigation into the fire disaster in Kartalkaya.
Özcan made evaluations regarding the agenda during a live broadcast he attended on Halktv.
Stating in a previous broadcast that, contrary to what was claimed by the ministry, the hotel was not granted permission regarding the fire, and that only a cafe in front of the hotel was approved, Özcan this time made a striking claim regarding the fire investigation.
Bolu Mayor Tanju Özcan claimed that the experts examining the hotel, where 78 people lost their lives, were being pressured to state that the fire started downstairs rather than on the 4th floor, and that the hotel was wanted to be demolished as soon as possible to cover up the evidence.
