Striking claim from Turhan Çömez: Israel struck a base planned to be handed over to Turkey
İYİ Party Balıkesir Deputy Op. Dr. Turhan Çömez made a striking claim regarding Israel's attack on a military base in Hama, Syria.
Israel continues its airstrikes against Syria.
The Israeli army carried out airstrikes on Hama and Homs following attacks on the capital, Damascus.
Syrian media reported that Israel targeted a military airport in the city of Hama and the T-4 Airbase in Homs.
İYİ Party Deputy Çömez made a striking claim on his social media account regarding this Israeli attack.
Shortly after the attack, Çömez claimed that 3 Turkish engineers had lost their lives in the strike on the military base in Hama, and shortly after this post, he shared that he had received information confirming the attack, stating the following:
"The attack has been officially confirmed; a base planned to be handed over to Turkey has been struck. This is a clear message from the US and Israel to Turkey... The Greater Middle East Project (BOP) is working like clockwork. Turkey must not remain silent!
In his second post, Çömez did not provide information on whether there were any deaths or injuries in the attack.
