“ATTACKS ON THE PORT AND AIR BASE ARE BEING REPORTED”

Cem Gürdeniz pointed out that there has been no official statement from the US or Venezuela, noting that media sources are reporting the situation in Caracas from a different perspective. Gürdeniz used the following expressions in his assessment:

“Although there is no official statement from the US or Venezuela, media sources are reporting attacks on the port and air base in Caracas.

CNN International has been reporting the developments for hours as multiple explosions and power outages in Caracas."

Making a striking comment on the nature of the attacks, Cem Gürdeniz pointed to a process carried out without the approval of the US Congress and said:

“It is self-evident that the attacks were carried out by the US to initiate internal unrest in Venezuela in a hybrid warfare format, without declaring war and without congressional approval.

“THE US WILL NOT ATTEMPT A GROUND INVASION”
