Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM) Numan Kurtulmuş has gone down in history as the first Parliament Speaker to visit the Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality in 26 years. During the visit, the long-standing political tension between the DEM Party-led municipality and HÜDA PAR surfaced once again.
