After resigning from the İYİ Party, İbrahim Özkan, who began to voice his support for Ekrem İmamoğlu loudly, made an interesting comparison on his social media account.

Özkan, who actively uses his social media account and draws attention with his observations on the agenda, compared Ekrem İmamoğlu, who is working hard to become the İBB mayor again, to one of the important figures of Turkish politics, Süleyman Demirel.

Stating that his grandfather was a companion of Süleyman Demirel, İbrahim Özkan wrote the following:

"My late grandfather was a companion of Süleyman Demirel.

Because of my grandfather, I followed Demirel closely.

Now I see the youth of Demirel in the squares.

İmamoğlu is shining again in the squares and in the hearts of the people as the hope of the opposition to win again and change things."
