FETÖ, led by Fethullah Gülen, attempted a coup on July 15, 2016, in an effort to seize control of the country's administration. 42 police officers were martyred at the Ankara Gölbaşı Special Operations Center in attacks carried out by FETÖ-affiliated soldiers.
In a post made today on the Special Operations Presidency's X account, the following statement was used: Those who live without roots are buried without a homeland.
