Striking statements regarding the murder from teacher Fatma Nur's grieving uncle: 'He carried out the act with a bread knife'

The incident occurred last Monday around 11:00 at the Borsa İstanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School in Çekmeköy. According to the information obtained, F.S.B. (17) stabbed teachers Fatma Nur Çelik (44) and Z.A. (52), as well as his friend S.K. (15).

Biology teacher Fatma Nur Çelik, who was seriously injured, lost her life despite all interventions at the hospital to which she was taken by ambulance.

Fatma Nur Çelik's funeral was held yesterday in her hometown of Konya, where she was laid to rest. Çelik's relatives are currently receiving condolences.

"THE CHILD WAS A SCHIZOPHRENIC PATIENT"

Fatma Nur Çelik's uncle, Necati Çelik, said, "She was born and raised in our arms. She was a wonderful person who was very talented, had a beautiful voice, and was very dedicated to her profession. She studied biology in Ankara.

She decided to become a teacher. She started this job with incredible dreams. She was a well-loved, good teacher at her school. She had been at the same school for 13 years. It is a very painful, sorrowful event. May God not let this happen to anyone.

The person who carried out the act was her student, but the child was ill; he was a schizophrenic patient. He had already been suspended from school for 1 year. He was being treated at a Mental and Nervous Diseases Hospital, but they released him from the hospital—whether I should call it negligence by his father or his signature, they took him out.

There is a lot that needs to be investigated here. Why and how was a child who had a suspension order allowed into the school with a knife in his hand? He carried out this act with a bread knife. She was a young, vibrant woman. May God have mercy on her," he said.
