Striking 'Syrian President' remarks from Fatih Altaylı! 'Even if you don't see it...'

Journalist Fatih Altaylı made a striking statement regarding candidates of Syrian origin following messages from his readers.

In the section titled "Have no doubt" of his article published on his own website, Altaylı stated: "Just as the AKP is now trying to get Turks to form a party in Germany, in a few years, the Syrian leader will have the Syrians in Turkey form a party, and the will that sent those Afghans to Turkey will have the Afghans form a party. Even if you don't see it, your children will see a Syrian President of Turkey."

Altaylı noted the following in his article:

"I frequently receive emails or messages from you, the readers. There is a municipal council candidate of Syrian origin here, a candidate of Afghan origin there, and so on. Don't be surprised. It will happen. We have seen these things. The children of Turkish workers who went from Turkey to Germany became members of parliament, mayors, and ministers. Now, the children of the Syrians, Afghans, and Africans who have come to us will become deputies, mayors, ministers, and presidents. Have no doubt about it. It won't stop there either. Just as the AKP is now trying to get Turks to form a party in Germany, in a few years, the Syrian leader will have the Syrians in Turkey form a party, and the will that sent those Afghans to Turkey will have the Afghans form a party. Even if you don't see it, your children will see a Syrian President of Turkey. That is, of course, if Turkey still has the name Turkey in its name by that day!"
