Strong winds in Sinop create waves reaching 3 meters
Strong winds affecting the Black Sea have caused waves reaching 3 meters along the coast of Sinop. The Governor's Office announced that adverse weather conditions are expected to continue for a few more days and urged citizens to be cautious.
Due to the wind, which has been effective in the city for two days and has reached speeds of 37 kilometers per hour, wave heights on the city's southern coast have reached 3 meters.

Some citizens came to the shore and tried to capture images of the waves with their mobile phones.

International cargo ships that took shelter in the inner harbor area in the south of the city due to the strong winds are also continuing to wait.

In a warning issued by the Sinop Governor's Office, it was stated that adverse weather conditions in the city are expected to continue for a few more days, and citizens were asked to be cautious against problems that may arise due to snowfall and heavy rain.
