Student stabs classmate at school
A dispute occurred between two students at Seyda Molla Bahri Imam Hatip Secondary School, located in the Kırklar neighborhood of Elazığ's city center. The argument escalated into a knife fight at the school. One student was injured with a fruit knife.
A dispute occurred between two students at the Seyda Molla Bahri Imam Hatip Secondary School, located in the Kırklar neighborhood of Elazığ's city center.
Eighth-grade students Y.A. and M.P.K., who had previously been in a dispute, argued again inside the school. As the argument escalated, M.P.K. stabbed Y.A. with a fruit knife he had brought from home.
STUDENT TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
After students in the classroom informed their teachers, the incident was reported to health and police teams. The injured student was taken to Fethi Sekin City Hospital by ambulance for treatment following initial intervention at the scene.
The student who injured his classmate was taken into custody by teams from the Provincial Police Department's Juvenile Branch. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
