The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has announced that two successive earthquakes occurred in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir.
The first earthquake was recorded at a magnitude of 4.0, followed by one measuring 3.6.
It was stated that both earthquakes occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers.
These tremors in Balıkesir caused brief panic among the local residents.
