Suicide attempt on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge

The incident occurred around 11:00 AM in the direction of Edirne on the 15 July Martyrs Bridge.

According to reports, an individual experiencing personal problems stopped their vehicle on the bridge and threatened to jump.

Other drivers passing by notified the police. Fire, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The teams arriving at the location are currently attempting to persuade the individual to abandon their action.

While police teams at the scene are managing traffic on the bridge in a controlled manner, drivers attempting to cross the bridge have formed long queues.
