Süleyman Soylu's past remarks on Amedspor resurface: 'What will we tell our children who were martyred?'
Following Amedspor's promotion to the Süper Lig, almost all AKP members, led by AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, issued congratulatory messages. On social media, however, Süleyman Soylu's past remarks regarding Amedspor have resurfaced.
AKP member Süleyman Soylu, currently associated with the Gülistan Doku investigation, recently stated that the investigation must continue regardless of position or rank.
Soylu, who has said he is preparing to leave politics now that his parliamentary term is ending and that he only goes to parliament once a week, has now become a trending topic due to a past statement.
As Amedspor was promoted to the Süper Lig, congratulatory messages poured in from AKP figures, starting with AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, while Soylu's past remarks resurfaced on social media.
Here are those words from Süleyman Soylu:
"The PKK says support Amedspor.
The sports club that the terrorist organization PKK directly gives instructions to is Amedspor.
What will we tell our children who were martyred?"
