Süper Lig club could be relegated very soon: Striking claim from former referee
While the remarks made by TFF President Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu at a press conference in Istanbul last October, stating that '371 out of 571 referees have betting accounts,' continue to be debated, prominent figures continue to make striking claims regarding developments that will impact Turkish football.
Following the statement by the TFF President,as part of the investigation launched into betting and match-fixing, a large numberof players, referees, clubexecutives, and administrators were taken into custody.The investigation continues.
Regarding allegations of betting, FenerbahMert Hakan Yandaş and Galatasaray's Metehan Baltacı were arrested.
Duringthe investigationprocess, EyüpsporPresident Murat Özkaya lastmonth, EyEyupspor DeputyPresident Fatih Kulaksız was arrested yesterday on charges of'illegal betting activities' and 'influencingthe outcome of a match'.Former Adana Demirsporpresident Murat Sancak is also
under investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office,which is conducting the probe.gu was among those arrested in the 'betting' and 'match-fixing' investigation.

As the investigationscontinue, former FIFA-badgedSüper Lig refereeDeniz AteşBitnel made a noteworthystatement. Bitnel said,Very soonarelegation decision for a Süper Lig clubcouldbe issued,he stated.
