Support for İmamoğlu from Erdal Beşikçioğlu: 'No power can stand against the will of the people'
Etimesgut Mayor Erdal Beşikçioğlu stated in his remarks in front of the CHP Headquarters: 'No power can stand against the will of the people. It is like this today, but I am curious about tomorrow. Tomorrow, all these citizens will hold them accountable. Our party will draw up a roadmap. We will do what is necessary in accordance with that roadmap.'
Citizens who gathered in front of the CHP Headquarters upon the call of the Ankara Provincial Organization protested the detention of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) and Union of Municipalities of Türkiye (TBB) Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu. District mayors also supported the party. Etimesgut Mayor Erdal Beşikçioğlu evaluated the detention of İmamoğlu.
