Support for Minister Tekin from Ömer Çelik on 'curriculum change': Extremely accurate

AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik made statements regarding the MKYK agenda:

"The announcement by some EU member states that they are selling weapons to Israel reveals a tragedy that demonstrates a detachment from humanitarian values in favor of technology and the profit and interests derived from it. They made these statements while it was being revealed that Israel is using artificial intelligence to kill children."

"Our President Mr. Erdoğan states that the fight against the FETÖ terrorist organization must continue uninterrupted. We commemorate the cherished memories of our martyrs on that day, and we did so today as well. Our President once again recalled those unique sacrifices. We will make intensive preparations under the instructions of our President."

"The EU should not remember Turkey only for defense issues. If it implements its relationship with Turkey across the broadest possible spectrum, it will be rid of most of its current problems. Defense and security are important under today's conditions, but EU-Turkey cooperation needs to be developed across a wide range that goes beyond that."

Ömer Çelik then answered questions from members of the press:

"A Turkey without terrorism is a process built by the People's Alliance as a whole. The process continues with Mr. Bahçeli's historic call and our President's instructions to turn this into a state policy. This has its own rhythm and cannot be compared to the other rhythms of politics. We are continuing this process uninterruptedly with a strong will. The goal is for the terrorist organization to be removed from Turkey's agenda. The main objective is for the terrorist organization to lay down its arms and for the dissolution process to be completed."

"Our Minister of National Education made a statement regarding the changes in the curriculum. It is extremely correct. What some call 'Geographical Discoveries' is an occupation for the peoples of Latin America. The people of Latin America refer to Simón Bolívar in opposition to the exploitation brought by the geographical discoveries. Geographical discoveries is a term used by invaders; we are not obligated to use it. Calling the Crusades 'Crusader attacks' is also extremely instructive. What the Crusaders did was an attack against our geography and our values. Therefore, the assessment of 'Crusader attacks' is extremely accurate."
