Det ained late at night and taken into custody, and after giving his statement at the Küçükçekmece Courthouse, Aysever was arrested on charges of 'inciting the public to hatred and disdain'hostilityor insulting' chargehe was referred to the Criminal Judgeship of Peace todayaround 13:40with a request for his arrest.

Shortly afterthe referral, Aysever wasan arrest warrant was issued.

While this arrest decision drew various comments, former CHP Chairman K emal KılıçdaroğluKılıçdaroğlu broke his silence and issued a statement of support for Aysever. He made a statement.
