Surprising meeting during Erdoğan's US visit: He met with Hamdi Ulukaya, who sponsors Fenerbahçe
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended a meeting hosted by Hamdi Ulukaya in the US as part of the UN General Assembly. The meeting was also attended by prominent figures from the Turkish government and CEOs of the world's largest companies.
It has emerged that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Kurdish businessman Hamdi Ulukaya during his visit to the US.
Furthermore, the name of the yogurt brand Chobani, owned by businessman Hamdi Ulukaya, recently became the stadium sponsor for Fenerbahçe.
Erdoğan was accompanied by ministers from the Presidential cabinet at the meeting hosted by US-Turkey Business Council Chairman Hamdi Ulukaya. Attendees included Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar, and Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat.

The meeting was also attended by some of the biggest names in the US business world, such as Coca-Cola CEO James Quincey, Patagonia CEO Ryan Gellert, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, and FedEx CEO Raj Subramaniam. Additionally, prominent figures such as GE Healthcare International CEO Elie Chaillot, Franklin Templeton CEO Jenny Johnson, and Novonesis CEO Ester Baiget were present at the meeting.
Senior executives from world-renowned companies including Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Google, and Mastercard also participated in the meeting to evaluate developments in the business world.
