Surprising statement on CHP from a pollster close to the government: 'If an election were held today...'
Speaking about the latest election polls, Optimar Research President Hilmi Daşdemir said, "If an election were held today, the CHP could receive more votes than ever before."
Optimar Research President Hilmi Daşdemir, known for his proximity to the government, spoke about the poll results.
Speaking on a live broadcast on Tv100, Daşdemir stated that if an election were held today, the CHP could receive more votes than it ever has.
Stating that the CHP currently has "a momentum," Daşdemir expressed that if an election were held today, the CHP could become the leading party or achieve results neck-and-neck with the AKP.
Daşdemir's statements are as follows:
"The Republican People's Party currently has momentum. They are either in first place or neck-and-neck. If an election were held today, according to the polls, the Republican People's Party could receive more votes than it ever has. However, when we ask what the most important problem is, the economy ranks first at 65 percent. When we ask who will solve it, they say the AK Party and Erdoğan at 22 percent, ranking first. The Republican People's Party is second with 18 percent. The rate of those who say 'none of them' is 37.5 percent. So, in the coming days, I am this high."
