The survey conducted for the design of the 2,500 application-based commercial taxis expected to begin operations in the megacity has concluded.
The survey, which included 5 different designs, was launched with the slogan "Istanbulites choose their taxi."
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu announced on the X platform that the design of the new taxis has been determined.
Stating that 100,000 people participated in the survey launched by the IMM, İmamoğlu said, "They chose the design of the new application-based taxis. Option E won by public vote."

İmamoğlu also provided the information that "2,500 new application-based taxis will soon be at the service of Istanbulites."
