Survivor contestant criticizes Acun Ilıcalı

Batuhan Karacakaya was a guest on the Haber Bahane program, which is broadcast on Haberler.com's YouTube channel.

Speaking about how he felt cheated on Survivor, Karacakaya expressed his frustration, saying, "Acun brother thought he could say anything to anyone because he pays them."

"I RECEIVED AN OFFER FOR THE NEW SEASON BUT IT DID NOT MATERIALIZE"

Responding to the question, "How did you decide to go on Survivor?", Karacakaya replied:

"Survivor was a place where I could complete a void from my childhood. It was a program we watched as a family, and I always admired it. I don't regret going; what I experienced there added experience to my life. If I hadn't participated, it would have remained a regret. Survivor is a very dangerous program because they get to know the real you there. You are hungry on Survivor, and you are judged by the reactions you give there. I left there in a good way, and I'm glad I went. I received an offer for the new season, but it didn't materialize. There were some problems that needed to be solved. We cannot watch the Survivor episodes I competed in with my family with pleasure. Unwanted events occurred. There wasn't a Survivor I lost because of my ambition. Everything in Survivor should be in moderation. The periods I went to Survivor were very beautiful for me."

"HE SAID 'BATUHAN WASN'T GOING TO BE THE CHAMPION ANYWAY'"

Discussing the injustices he faced on Survivor and the backlash he received due to his mother's social media post, Karacakaya continued:

"Survivor had negative effects on my life. I parted ways with my managers who didn't want me to go to Survivor. I had received a lead role offer for a TV series, but I turned it down to go. The first year, I got caught in a scramble and was eliminated. After I was eliminated, I was told, 'You will lose followers and then be forgotten.' After I was eliminated, 500 thousand people started following me. While 80 thousand people were watching the live broadcast opened by Acun Ilıcalı, 120 thousand people were watching my broadcast.

After I was eliminated, my mother, like every mother would, said, 'An injustice was done to my son.' I didn't know my mother had written this. Afterwards, Acun brother went on a broadcast where we weren't present and said, 'His mother couldn't handle it, Batuhan wasn't going to be the champion anyway. He didn't get votes, there was no possibility of him being the champion.'"

"HE THOUGHT HE COULD SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE HE PAYS THEM"

While I wanted to close the Survivor chapter as a competition where I showed my athletic struggle, I started to be known for the controversy with my mother. I have infinite respect for those who go there for money. Money, fame, and celebrity were not at the forefront of my path. The world already knew me from Aşk-ı Memnu. How many times did I get injured during the competition and continue? My little finger is broken, and I can't even close it. Acun brother thought he could say anything to anyone because he pays them. And he does... He thought the same for my mother. I received money because I was there and for my labor.

"AN INJUSTICE WAS DONE TO MY MOTHER"

After the competition ended, instead of watching the episodes, I receive reactions from people saying, 'Don't forget what Acun said to your mother.' When 7 out of 10 people on the street see me, they say, 'They cheated you out of your win.' Let's say I saw it wrong because I was in the middle of it, and my mother and those who love me saw it that way, but did the public see it that way too? Where does this talk of being cheated come from? For Acun brother, labor has no importance. He said, 'Batuhan didn't get votes,' I couldn't believe it. He said I didn't get votes to justify the votes Nisa received. I had already come in 2nd in the big vote. What did I do to you in the competition other than run? We went to see him to resolve the conversation with my mother.

Acun Ilıcalı gave a guarantee that he would apologize in public for what he said to my mother, but he didn't. That's why I didn't accept the Survivor All Star offer.
