Suspect wanted by France captured in Istanbul

It was determined by National Intelligence Organization (MIT) units that S.K. (35), who was reported by French authorities via a "diffusion message" and had been wanted in his country for a long time, was in Istanbul.

The location where the suspect, who is accused of drug trafficking, possession, transport, and money laundering by facilitating the concealment and conversion of proceeds from drug trafficking in the international arena, was hiding in Kağıthane was identified by security and intelligence units.

The location of the perpetrator, whose name is mentioned in money laundering investigations and drug trafficking, was reported by the MIT to the teams of the Istanbul Police Department, the Narcotics Crimes Investigation Branch, and the Intelligence Branch. S.K., who was captured in a joint operation by the MIT and the police, was taken to the Istanbul Police Department for questioning.
