Suspect wanted by Interpol with a Red Notice caught in Bodrum!
A foreign national wanted by Interpol with a Red Notice has been captured in the Bodrum district of Muğla. It was determined that the suspect entered the country via Morocco.
Provincial Gendarmerie Command teams received intelligence that Michael Lindström, who is wanted by Interpol with a Red Notice for "possession of firearms and explosives" and "murder," had arrived in Istanbul by plane from Morocco and subsequently traveled to Milas-Bodrum Airport.
WANTED FOR MURDER
The suspect was taken into custody in an operation conducted by the Bodrum District Gendarmerie Command Intelligence and Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime units in Tilkicik Bay, under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
During a search of the address where Lindström was staying, 2 pistol magazines, 10 bullets, 9 knives, 1 pair of brass knuckles, and 2 air rifles were seized.

The suspect was arrested after being referred to the courthouse following processing at the Gendarmerie.
A TURKISH CITIZEN WHO ASSISTED THE SUSPECT WAS ALSO ARRESTED
Meanwhile, S.M.B., a Swedish citizen of Turkish descent who assisted Michael Lindström, was also captured in the operation.
S.M.B. was arrested by the judge at the courthouse where he was referred.
