Suspect who shot and wounded journalist Azim Deniz has been caught
In Kayseri, journalist Azim Deniz (52) was subjected to an armed attack by an unidentified person in the parking lot of his home. The suspect was taken into custody in Yozgat.
Journalist Azim Deniz was shot and wounded in the parking lot of his home on Karasu Street in the Mimarsinan neighborhood. The suspect, A.T., who fled the scene, was caught in the Sorgun district of Yozgat.
Following processing at the police station and a medical check-up, the suspect was referred to the courthouse.
Yesterday in Kayseri, Azim Deniz was subjected to an armed attack by A.T. while he was going down to his parking lot to drop his daughter off at work. Deniz initially sought medical attention at Kayseri State Hospital on his own before being transferred to Kayseri City Hospital.
