Suspicious activity in front of Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek's home: Two people detained
In Istanbul, two individuals on a motorcycle who asked questions to police officers in front of Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek's home have been detained.
Two individuals on a motorcycle engaged in suspicious behavior in front of Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek's residence in Sarıyer during the morning hours.
According to the report by Ekol TV reporter Dilek Yaman Demir, these individuals asked the on-duty police officers, "Is the prosecutor here?"
They then fled the scene on the same motorcycle.
Upon the police officers reporting the situation, the suspects were apprehended and detained in another district.
T.Ç., who was taken to the Organized Crime Branch, stated in his testimony, "My girlfriend lives near the chief prosecutor's house, so I know the house.
I just wanted to chat with the police out of curiosity," he said.
T.Ç. stated that he became curious when he saw the police and only asked if the prosecutor was at home for the purpose of making conversation.
