The incident occurred on Berrin Street in the Yavuz Sultan neighborhood. According to the information obtained, citizens who saw 53-year-old construction contractor Reşat Mamik motionless inside his car, 50 meters away from his home, reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Upon the report, health, police, and fire department teams were dispatched to the scene. The fire department teams, who arrived at the scene in a short time, opened the doors of the locked car. Mamik, who was taken into the ambulance and attempted to be resuscitated with heart massage, could not be saved.

An investigation into the incident has been launched.
