Taiwanese tourist found dead in hotel room in Cappadocia
A 61-year-old Taiwanese tourist, identified as H.S.C., who came to the Ürgüp district of Nevşehir to visit historical sites, was found dead in his hotel room. The tourist had participated in a hot air balloon tour in the morning before returning to his room after feeling unwell.

According to the information obtained, H.S.C., who arrived in the city the day before, sought medical attention yesterday evening after feeling unwell.
After receiving treatment, H.S.C. returned to his hotel and participated in the famous hot air balloon tour in Cappadocia in the morning.
However, the tourist felt unwell again during the tour, left the excursion early to rest, and returned to his hotel. Some time later, his roommate found H.S.C. lying motionless in his bed. Upon the roommate notifying hotel staff, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
Following examinations, it was determined that H.S.C. had passed away. His body was taken to the Nevşehir State Hospital morgue. The cause of the tourist's death will be clarified following an autopsy. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
