Taksim Metro Station closed to operations due to suicide attempt
It has been reported that Taksim Metro Station has been closed to operations due to a suicide attempt.
In a statement made on Metro İstanbul's social media account, it was stated: "The Taksim Station of the M2 Yenikapı-Hacıosman Metro Line has been closed to operations due to a passenger's suicide attempt.
Services are operating on their normal schedule between the Yenikapı-Şişhane and Osmanbey-Hacıosman stations, while shuttle services are being provided between Şişhane and Osmanbey."
SERVICES RETURNED TO NORMAL AFTER A SHORT BREAK
In a second post, it was announced that services had returned to normal.
