Talk of cabinet reshuffle leaks from AKP corridors! The '3 ministers' claim…
Nuray Babacan, who shared new inside information regarding the cabinet reshuffle expected to take place after the AKP's grand congress, wrote about the striking three-minister claim in her column in Nefes.
Nefes Newspaper columnist Nuray Babacan, in her article titled 'Nervous breakdown in the AKP', stated that the cabinet reshuffle, which has been discussed in AKP corridors for a long time, is no longer a priority agenda item.
“According to some, it has been left until April, according to others, until June,” Babacan noted, pointing to the delay of the change, and added: “However, in recent days, there are those who claim that the cabinet reshuffle has been completely abandoned or will be limited to at most 3 ministers. Party members who were disappointed with the change at the grand congress and are uncomfortable with the names included in the party's MKYK seem to have lost hope for a cabinet reshuffle as well. Even if it happens, it is thought that it will not send a message regarding success, merit, or talent.”
REACTION TO VEDAT MILOR IN THE AKP: THE END OF THE LINE
On the other hand, suggesting that the investigation launched against gastronomy writer Vedat Milor for promoting city restaurants (kent lokantaları) has caused unease even within the AKP, Babacan reported: “Recently, questions about 'what purpose' the investigations and operations carried out in Istanbul serve have begun to be asked more frequently. In particular, there were those who evaluated the Vedat Milor investigation as 'the end of the line'.”
