Tamer Karadağlı named 'most successful bureaucrat of the year'
State Theaters General Manager Tamer Karadağlı, who is remembered for his role as Haluk in the TV series Çocuklar Duymasın, has been awarded the "Successful Bureaucrat of the Year" award.
It has emerged that actor Tamer Karadağlı, who was appointed as the General Manager of State Theaters on August 11, 2023, by the decision of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, has received a surprise award.
Karadağlı, who made significant waves a few months ago with his statement that "the Tulip Era is over," drawing reactions from famous actors, had said, "It does not seem right for anyone to sit around for years just collecting a salary while saying 'I am an actor,' 'I am a theater performer.' If you are not going to work, I say 'resign'."
It was learned that Karadağlı was presented with the "Successful Bureaucrat of the Year" award by "Radyo Efebey" for his contributions to the arts. A post shared on the official Instagram account of the State Theaters revealed that the award was presented at a grand ceremony held tonight.
