Tarım Kredi forgets Israel boycott! They have started selling that cola again
Tarım Kredi Cooperative Markets have abandoned their boycott decision against Israel and resumed the sale of Coca-Cola. In response to Israel's attacks on Gaza, Tarım Kredi had decided in 2022 to stop selling products of Israeli origin. AKP-run municipalities had also supported this decision, with some municipalities beginning to boycott Israeli-origin products.

Tarım Kredi Cooperative Market has abandoned its boycott decision against Israel and resumed the sale of Coca-Cola.
The market has taken a step back from the boycott decision it had previously made, despite the Palestine rallies held by AKP-run municipalities and calls led by Bilal Erdoğan.
BILAL ERDOĞAN HAD CALLED FOR A BOYCOTT
TÜGVA, known for its proximity to the government, also participated in the march held on the Galata Bridge against Israel's attacks on Gaza.
Bilal Erdoğan, who called for a boycott against Israel, had stated the following:
"We promise that we will learn the importance, value, history, and worth of Palestine for us, and that we will pass this on and teach it to our children and those who come after us. We promise that we will ensure and strengthen our unity against the Zionist order backed by America. We promise that we will continue the boycott. This matter will not end with a ceasefire."
Despite the 'boycott' decision, Tarım Kredi Market has resumed the sale of Coca-Cola.
AKP-RUN MUNICIPALITIES HAD ALSO SUPPORTED IT
Previously, some AKP-run municipalities had decided to boycott products of Israeli origin and banned the sale of Coca-Cola in markets under their jurisdiction.
Among these municipalities are many districts such as Bağcılar, Bahçelievler, Başakşehir, Bayrampaşa, Beyoğlu, Çatalca, Çekmeköy, Eyüpsultan, Fatih, Gaziosmanpaşa, Kağıthane, Pendik, Sancaktepe, Silivri, Sultanbeyli, Sultangazi, Ümraniye, and Zeytinburnu.
TARIM KREDİ DID NOT CONTINUE THE BOYCOTT
Tarım Kredi Markets had announced in November that, in line with a decision taken, products from Israel would be removed from their shelves.
As of November, the implementation of this decision had begun, and products belonging to the aforementioned Israeli brands had started to be removed from the shelves in Tarım Kredi Markets.
However, as of 04.01.2024, it appears that this decision has been abandoned.
