Taxi driver attacked this time in Kadıköy

In the Kozyatağı neighborhood of Kadıköy, around 1:00 PM, a 60-year-old taxi driver named Osman was stopped at a traffic light when three unidentified individuals forcibly entered his vehicle.

Allegedly, they pulled a knife on the taxi driver and ordered him to drive. The taxi driver refused to go to the requested location. The three individuals who entered the vehicle stole money from the taxi and fled. The taxi driver began to chase the individuals who had fled. The three people who stole the money stabbed the taxi driver in the jugular vein and escaped. The taxi driver, identified as Osman, managed to get out of the vehicle on his own despite being seriously injured. Upon notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene.

TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL

Health teams arriving at the scene transported the taxi driver, who was wounded in the jugular vein, to the hospital. Police teams have launched an investigation into the incident. Local shopkeeper Adem Güneş, who heard about the incident, said, "They were arguing with the taxi driver; the kids had taken his money. They stabbed the taxi driver while he was running after them. Blood was gushing from the stabbed taxi driver."
