TBB President Erinç Sağkan to defend the lieutenants
Union of Turkish Bar Associations (TBB) President Erinç Sağkan has taken on the defense of the lieutenants referred to disciplinary action. Upholding the principles of independence and impartiality of the bars, Sağkan has initiated the legal process to defend the rights of the lieutenants.
The lieutenants who took an oath with their swords and chanted "We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal" after the Military Academy graduation ceremony, which was also attended by President and AKP Chairman Tayyip Erdoğan, had been referred to disciplinary action.
The file regarding the lieutenants will be reviewed on January 16.

It has been learned that Union of Turkish Bar Associations (TBB) President Erinç Sağkan has taken on the defense of the lieutenants referred to disciplinary action.
An investigation had been launched into class valedictorian Lieutenant Ebru Eroğlu and Regiment Senior Lieutenant İzzet Talip Akarsu, as well as lieutenants Serhat Gündar, Deniz Demirtaş, and Batuhan Gazi Kılıç.
