A 49-year-old English teacher has passed away after suffering a heart attack while playing ball with his students during recess at the school where he worked in the Acıpayam district of Denizli.

Teacher who played ball with students during recess passes away

Mehmet Ali Toktaş (49), an English teacher at Karahüyük Secondary School in the Acıpayam district of Denizli, suddenly fell ill and collapsed while playing volleyball with his students in the schoolyard in the afternoon. His colleagues who witnessed the incident intervened.

They requested assistance from the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Medical teams arriving at the scene determined that English teacher Mehmet Ali Toktaş had passed away.

The teacher, who could not be saved despite the interventions of the medical teams, was taken to the morgue.
