Tense moments in secret talks in Syria: What happened in the triangle of Ahmed al-Shara, Mazloum Abdi, and Tom Barrack?

According to the behind-the-scenes information Çiçek relayed from Abdul Malik Aboud, al-Shara asked Mazloum Abdi, 'Will you implement the agreement we signed yesterday?' However, Abdi replied, 'I am not bound by the agreement and I do not recognize the electronic signature that took place. Stop the convoys so we can discuss the terms.'

Al-Shara noted that there was no room for negotiation. Al-Shara said, 'There is no question of stopping the military convoys; everything the Syrian state does on the ground is within the terms of the agreement reached.'

It was emphasized that Abdi requested a 5-day extension through the mediation of the American envoy, but Barrack refused to guarantee this and gave the following response: 'I am ashamed in the presence of President al-Shara and I will not ask him for this. Furthermore, you (Mazloum Abdi) are not someone who makes your own decisions, so I cannot give you a guarantee of a decision from Qandil. Do not act stupidly and use this issue to spread chaos.
