Tense moments in the Narin Güran case: This time, brother Enes Güran files for acquittal

In the case regarding the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran in Diyarbakır, defendant Enes Güran, who received a sentence of aggravated life imprisonment, has challenged the local court's decision. One of Güran's lawyers, Mahir Akbilek, submitted an appeal petition to the 8th High Criminal Court to be forwarded to the Diyarbakır Regional Court of Justice.

The petition recalled that the defendant was sentenced to aggravated life imprisonment on December 28, 2024, for the crime of "intentional killing of a child in complicity," and argued that the verdict was contrary to the law.
