Terrifying incident at a children's playground in Antalya
In Antalya, a person was found dead in a children's playground with a stab wound to the chest. While 6 people were taken to the police station for questioning regarding the incident, police teams collected numerous alcohol bottles from the park as evidence.
During the night, individuals who saw a person lying motionless and covered in blood at a park on 75th Street in the Kızılsaray Neighborhood of Antalya's Muratpaşa district reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Following the report, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Upon arriving at the address, medical teams determined that the individual, who was identified as 51-year-old Süleyman C. based on the ID found on him, had passed away from a stab wound to the chest.
Police teams have launched an investigation into the matter, which they are treating as a homicide. The teams took 6 people, whom they believe may be connected to the incident and whose statements they intend to take, to the police station.
ALCOHOL BOTTLES COLLECTED AS EVIDENCE
Continuing their investigation in the area, Crime Scene Investigation teams placed numerous alcohol bottles, some scattered on the ground and others found on a bench in the park, into evidence bags.
The body of the deceased was transported to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue for an autopsy following the teams' examination.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
