Terrifying incident in Aksaray: 15-year-old opens fire with a pump-action shotgun

In the Pınar neighborhood of Aksaray, 15-year-old A.K. opened fire with a pump-action shotgun after his peer Y.K. refused his request for cigarettes and money, following him on a motorcycle. Y.K. was wounded in the head and left shoulder.

TERRIFYING MOMENTS

The incident occurred around 17:00 on Ebulfez Elçibey Street. A.K. encountered Y.K. while riding a motorcycle with his friend A.O. Allegedly, A.K. and A.O. demanded cigarettes and money from Y.K. However, Y.K. rejected these demands and continued on his way.

ATTACK WITH A SHOTGUN

Following the rejection, A.K. and A.O. began to follow Y.K. on their motorcycle. A.K., who was riding on the back, opened fire with a pump-action shotgun. Pellets from the shotgun struck Y.K. in the head and left shoulder. Following the incident, the attackers fled the scene rapidly on the motorcycle.

HOSPITALIZED

Upon notification by bystanders, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The wounded Y.K. was taken by ambulance to the Aksaray Training and Research Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
