Terrorist who martyred 27 people in Tunceli captured

Speaking at the Public Order and Security Briefing, Tunceli Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu announced that the terrorist Ahmet Kalker, a member of the PKK/KCK terrorist organization and the perpetrator of 20 terrorist attacks, had been captured alive.

The terrorist M.A., who used the codename Ahmet Kalker, was arrested and sent to prison.

Tunceli Governor Bülent Tekbıyıkoğlu made the following statements in his announcement:

Our Gendarmerie organization has carried out a very important operation. The terrorist identified as M.A., codenamed Ahmet Kalker, a member of the PKK-KCK terrorist organization, who was involved in the martyrdom of 27 of our security personnel—25 from the Gendarmerie and 2 from the Turkish Armed Forces—and the wounding of 35 of our security personnel—22 from the Gendarmerie and 13 from the Turkish Armed Forces—along with 2 of our citizens in 20 separate terror incidents in our province between 1995 and 2000, has been captured in an operation and arrested by the court.

Furthermore, an individual named C.A., a member of the PKK, KCK, and YPG terrorist organizations who was abroad and wanted for the crime of membership in a terrorist organization, has been persuaded to surrender. Their return to the country was secured on October 8, 2024, and judicial proceedings have begun.
