Ersoy, along with Mustafa Manaz, Ufuk Tetik, and Ebru Gülan, for whom the prosecutor's office requested arrest, werearrested on December 11on charges of "facilitating the use of narcotic substances" and "committinga crime."for the purpose of committing crimes of 'establishing an organization'he was arrested. Drug test from hair and bloodsamples came back 'positive' forErsoy, whosecrimetaken from 'Cocaine and its metabolites' were detected in the samples.

According to the report in the Sabah newspaper,
it was reported that Ersoy admitted to using drugs.According to the information, Ersoy, whowanted to provide testimonyin order to become a confessor, admittedto using drugs.
It was stated that Ersoy, who also provided information regarding drug parties, requested his release.
However, in the assessment made by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was noted that Ersoy's drug use was already established by the report issued by the Council of Forensic Medicine, and that the parties held at the house he rented were already known, thereforeErsoy's testimonydid not contribute to the investigation.
Ersoy was sent back to the prison where he is beingheld.
