Testimony of released lawyer Feyza Altun revealed!

Lawyer Feyza Altun, who was detained yesterday (February 19) as part of an investigation launched by the Beykoz Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, has been released under judicial control.

The testimony given by Altun in court has been revealed. Stating that she did not insult any belief, Altun said, "Furthermore, Sharia is not a religion. Sharia is a political regime. To me, Sharia is the Taliban mindset."

Altun's testimony is as follows;

"I shared a poem from my account on X (formerly known as Twitter). A user commented under my poem, 'Oh, Feyza has had a Sharia attack.' In response to this post, I replied with 'F--- Sharia.' I deleted it within 3 minutes, fearing it might be taken out of context. They tried to lynch me as if I had made such a post out of the blue. There is freedom of religion and conscience in our country. I am someone who believes in that. I do not insult any religious belief. Furthermore, Sharia is not a religion. Sharia is a political regime. To me, Sharia is the Taliban mindset. I wanted to respond to that user with my post. Moreover, I am not obligated to glorify any religion, nor am I insulting one. I have expressed these views repeatedly in the live broadcasts I have appeared on."
